Description
A FINE AND RARE CHINESE COPPER-RED GLAZED STEM BOWL
SIX CHARACTER YONGZHENG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1723-35
Rising from a tall, slightly spreading foot, the exterior covered with a deep red glaze, thinning slightly around the base of the bowl and gently flaring rim, 15.5cm wide.
Cf. Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, Bristol, object number N5743 for a similar stem bowl with a Yongzheng mark.
