A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE RECTANGULAR-SECTION VASE AND COVER, PING
QIANLONG/JIAQING
The translucent pale green stone elegantly carved as a smooth flattened baluster vase, with a pair of mythical beast mask handles to the waisted neck, the cover surmounted by a bud finial, with a wood stand, 14cm overall. (3)
Provenance: an English private collection, and thence by descent.
