A CHINESE CARVED SPINACH-GREEN JADE BRUSHPOT, BITONG
QING DYNASTY
Raised on three bracket feet, the thick cylindrical wall carved in high-relief with a continuous rocky landscape with tall pine, wutong trees and bamboo, depicting groups of scholars and attendants gathered in pavilions and beside a river, the mottled stone of a rich deep green tone with darker inclusions, 17.1cm.
