A CHINESE HARDSTONE INCENSE BURNER AND COVER
LATE QING DYNASTY/ REPUBLIC PERIOD
The compressed circular body with animal masks and loose ring handles, raised on three tall feet, the cover surmounted by two Buddhist lion dogs, together with a wood stand, 20cm. (3)
Provenance: an English private collection acquired in the far East in the 1940s.
