A CHINESE EN GRISAILLE AND GILT-DECORATED BALUSTER VASE
20TH CENTURY
Painted with a scene from Journey to the West, depicting Wei Zheng holding a sword standing beside the chained three-clawed dragon, the base with a mark reading Yanghe tang zhi, 21cm.
Provenance: an English private collection, Bristol, purchased from Antik West, International Ceramic Fair, London 1986, copy of the invoice is available.
