A LARGE CHINESE YIXING TEAPOT AND COVER AND AN INCISED ALMS BOWL
QING DYNASTY
The plain teapot with a paper label for C Y Tse Antiques & Collectibles and two seal marks reading Jingxi and Shao Yuanxiang zhi to the base, the alms bowl incised with a text from the Diamond Sutra and a signature reading Zhenliang, the base with a four character mark, 31cm and 16.5cm. (3)
Provenance: from the collection of Dr Jonathan Mirsky (1932-2021). Dr Mirsky was an American journalist and historian of China.
