A PAIR OF CHINESE PAINTED POTTERY FIGURES OF MUSICIANS AND A POTTERY MODEL OF A HORSE

PROBABLY 20TH CENTURY

Each figure depicted as a seated lady playing a musical instrument, together with stands, the horse modelled standing four-square upon a rectangular base, 24cm max. (5)

Provenance: from a private collection, UK and USA, purchased from Sotheby & Co, London, on 13th May 1969, lots 51 and 58. A copy of the invoice is available. The pair of figures formerly in the collection of W H Adgey-Edgar.
