Provenance: from a British private collection, formed 1970-2003, the smaller tureen, cover and stand purchased from Christie's, 25th November 1999, lot 620; the larger tureen and cover from Christie's, 26th November 1998, lot 438; the two plates from Christie's 24th June 1999, lot 457.
