A NEAR PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE KRAAK BOWLS AND A DISH

Each of the bowls painted to the centre with precious objects within borders of lion masks and geometric designs, the dish painted with a pair of deer in a forest of pine encircled by panels of butterflies, flowers and cranes, each with a label for Christie's, 20.3cm max. (3)

Provenance: from a British private collection, formed 1970-2003, the pair of bowls purchased from Christie's London, 5th February 1998, lot 255; the dish purchased from Christie's London, 10 December 1998, lot 520.
