A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE CYLINDRICAL 'DRAGON' BRUSHPOT, BITONG
19TH CENTURY
Painted with five striding dragons amidst colourful cloud scrolls and flames, within a double line border repeated at the rim and base, with a recessed glazed circle to the base, 22cm wide.
Provenance: from a British private collection, purchased from Woolley and Wallis on 21st May 2008, lot 679.
