A JAPANESE GURI LACQUER FOUR-CASE INRO
EDO PERIOD, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The surface decorated with formal scrolling designs, the many black and red layers visible to the sides; with an en suite netsuke embellished with similar abstract patterns, the inro 6.8cm.
Provenance: an Irish private collection, Dublin.
