The Great War pair of medals to Private Osbert Edward Hotchkiss, 1st/18th Batallion London Regiment (London Irish Rifles), together with the Memorial Plaque and Scroll issued in commemoration of this man's sacrifice: British War Medal 1914-20 and Victory Medal (6590 PTE. O. E. HOTCHKISS 18-LOND. R.); Memorial Plaque (OSBERT EDWARD HOTCHKISS); displayed in a glazed oak frame together with the Memorial Scroll and associated items.
Private Hotchkiss died 13/07/1917. His battalion was in the line and had endured heavy shelling. Provenance: The Paul Morrissey Collection.
