Description
A Japanese sword (katana), blade 26.75 in., hon-zukuri, suguha hamon, nakago appears suguha with four ana, two character mei (kane tsune)* close to the nakagojiri, gilt habaki with neko-gaki; in tachi-koshirae with shakudo mounts, the tsuba, fuchi, kabutogane, shibabiki and ishi-dzuki all decorated en suite with gilt pawlonia blossoms against a nanako ground, bark effect red lacquered scabbard, lacking kurigata, tsuka-ito and grip ornaments also missing.
