An 18th century Scottish basket hilt sword, broad double edged blade 33.5 in., with three narrow fullers to each side and conventional blade marking 'ANDRIA FERARA'; steel basket hilt comprised of plates and bars with scalloped edges, the plates also pierced with arrangements of hearts, fluted pommel, ribbed grip.
