A interesting military sword of Sergeant's type, plain dumbell section blade marked 'MADE IN ENGLAND', 1897 type hilt with GVR cypher, guard engraved 'S.L. KEPPEL-PALMER', associated leather covered wooden scabbard.
Possibly a memorial object. A Captain Stuart Leslie Keppel-Palmer M.C., Tank Corps, was killed in action 03/10/1918.
