A .36 Whitney Navy six shot percussion revolver, Second Model, Third Type: octagonal barrel 7.5 in., 'E. WHITNEY/ N. HAVEN' to the top flat, marked 'B' to the barrel and frame and 'O' to the loading lever, blued finish with brass trigger guard, two piece walnut grip, serial number 18164; in a later fitted case with reproduction accessories.
