the brass three train movement with five turned pillars, the anchor escapement striking on a bell and chiming on eight bells, the brass 12inch arched dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, a strike / silent dial to the arch, signed 'Robert Allam London' with scrolling foliate spandrels, the arched hood with a bird and orb finial, fluted and reeded columns and silk backed fretwork side panels, with three brass cased weights, pendulum, case and winding keys
