A large George III Scottish silver Hanoverian pattern basting spoon,
by James Weems, Edinburgh 1757, assay master Hugh Gordon,
the reverse of the bowl with a plain heel, the reverse of the terminal with a later crest, length 36.8cm, approx. weight 6.4oz.
