A Victorian silver meat dish well,
by Robert Garrard II, London 1854,
of oval form, reeded border, the centre with a well for the juices, engraved initial and crest, lacking warming dish base, length 48.8cm, approx. weight 72.8oz.
The crest is that of Sandeman of Perth (Scotland).
