A group of amethyst jewels, mid 19th century, comprising: a pendant/brooch designed as a cross, set with oval and circular-cut amethysts mounted in gold cannetille work, length 6.3cm including bail; a similar cross pendant set with oval, circular-cut and pear-shaped amethysts, length 6.9cm including bail; another cross pendant set with oval amethysts, the centre with a rose-cut diamond, to a mount of foliate design with tricoloured gold, length 7.8cm including bail; and a cross brooch set with foil-backed cabochon amethysts, length 2.4cm
