Five Continental majolica Palissy-style trompe l'oeil dishes, 2nd half 19th century, the largest circular and modelled with overlapping fish to the well, the others oval and variously applied with fish, snakes, crayfish, lizards, shells and aquatic plants, one signed underneath for Charles-Jean Avisseau, some faults, 27cm max.
