Description
A Bow figure of Charity, c.1752-55, by the Muses modeller, modelled as a Classical maiden wearing a flowered dress and holding an infant in her left arm, a larger putto kneeling beside her with hands raised in supplication, some restoration, 28.8cm.
Provenance: the John Buckingham Collection. Formerly the Yarborough Collection.
