Description
A Bristol figure of a girl, c.1772-75, possibly modelled by John Toulouse and perhaps emblematic of Spring, standing with an apron full of colourful flowers, raised on a low rocky base, some good restoration through her neck, 18.3cm.
Provenance: the John Buckingham Collection. Old paper labels for the Simpson Collection and the Fowler Collection.
