Description
A tall and rare Longton Hall mug, c.1757-60, the narrow cylindrical form painted with two long-tailed birds perched on holey rockwork beside and beneath flowering peony branches, the rim with a panelled trellis border in red and blue, a long rim crack, 15.8cm.
