A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SERPENTINE SECRETAIRE CHEST
CHIPPENDALE PERIOD, C.1770
the secretaire drawer with outline mouldings, the interior with pigeon holes and drawers and a later leather lined writing surface revealing a hinged compartment, above two short and three long drawers, all with original brass swan neck handles with leaf decoration, flanked by stop fluted pilasters on shaped bracket feet
