Description

A late 17th/early 18th century continental spoon, with a fruiting knop finial, circular bowl, and a tapering stem, engraved up the lower half with scrolls and initialled 'IM', struck twice with the town mark, a six petalled flower, partially obscuring the maker mark, date letter 'D', unascribed, c.1700, 7in (17.8cm) long, 1.4oz.
