A garnet and diamond mourning pendant, mid 19th century, composed of a cabochon garnet drop, set with a star motif of cushion-shaped diamonds, to a bail similarly set with a polished garnet and diamond star, the reverse with a glazed compartment containing hairwork, mounted in gold, length 3.4cm including bail
