Description

A set of four George IV silver salt cellars,
by Robert Garrard, London 1822,
circular form, gadroon borders, gilded bowls, on three heavy lion mask-capped paw feet, engraved with a crest and coronet, diameter 8.5cm, approx. weight 30oz. (4)

The crest is that of Robert, 6th Earl of Cardigan (1760-1837).
