A William IV silver-gilt mazarine,
by William Bateman, London 1835,
oval form, pierced with foliate and scroll decoration, the centre with an engraved armorial, length 49.7cm, approx. weight 43.6oz.
The armorial is that of Hoghton Baronet: for Sir Henry Bold-Houghton (1799-1862), 8th Baronet of Hoghton Tower, Lancashire.
