A George III silver two-handled soup tureen and cover,
by Robert Hennell, London 1819,
oval bellied form, rose and gadroon border, foliate handles, the domed pull-off cover with chased acanthus leaves and a foliate scroll handle, on four rose-capped scroll feet, length handle to handle 42cm, approx. weight 117oz.
