Description
A large Philip Christian (Liverpool) sauceboat, c.1765-72, moulded with floral panels and brightly painted, one side with a peacock atop rockwork, the reverse, interior and spout with flowering branches, the rim with a gilt and red spearhead border, 19.6cm.
