Description
A Bow dish, c.1755-58, of shaped oblong form, painted in Imari colours with a pine tree and bamboo stems above flowering peony and rockwork, and a Chinese porcelain plate showing the original design copied at Bow, minor chipping, 29cm max. (2)
Provenance: the David Stopher Collection. The Bow dish formerly in the Susi and Ian Sutherland Collection. Paper label for Klaber & Klaber.
