Description

An early Bow blue and white mug, c.1753-55, of bell shape and painted in a bright blue with a gnarled pine tree over rockwork and flowering branches, between wide formal borders, blue X mark, and a later Bow mug painted with flowering plants beneath a fringed tree, blue R mark, each with a grooved strap handle, both cracked, 12cm max. (2)
