Rowing Interest: a George III mounted coconut goblet with a beaded pedestal foot and an applied shield cartouche on one side of the bowl, inscribed "London Rowing Club Won by Thos. Hale in a scullers match against Jno. Farley 1st Sept. 1762", maker's mark only "IP" [struck twice], London c.1760 (the coconut A/F), 6.75in (17cm) high.
