Two very similar continental small silvergilt caskets, of bombe form on scroll supports, decorated with Royal blue champlere enamel scrollwork and tracery; one with a scroll finial and Islamic script on the cover; the other with a reclining putto finial, duty mark only, possibly Austro-Hungarian 1850-60, 4.75in (12cm) long, 19oz.
