Description

A 16 bore English flintlock holster pistol by H. Nock, swamped octagonal barrel 8.5 in., top flat inscribed 'H NOCK LONDON' (the 'H' being later or re-engraved); engraved lock with waterproof pan, safety bar and roller bearing on the frizzen spring, and inscribed 'H. NOCK'; full stock with chequered grip and monogrammed cartouch, engraved steel trigger guard with pineapple finial, wooden ramrod (lacking tip), c 1800.
