A CHINESE DARK BLUE-GROUND EMBROIDERED SILK ROBE
LATE QING DYNASTY
Decorated with eight floral roundels, above crashing waves, the interior with a turquoise lining, 179cm x 131cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Sir Ambrose Heal FSA RDI (1872-1959) an English furniture designer, retailer and manufacturer in the first half of the 20th Century, and thence by descent. By repute, acquired before the 1920s.
