Description

A Victorian cast silvergilt cruet in the form of a horse-drawn sled on small concealed wheels fitted with the following mounted faceted glass condiments: a pepperette, an open salt with spoon, a mustard with spoon and a spice bottle with stopper and integral spoon, the rear of the sled inscribed "This cruet belonged to Dhuleep Singh now presented to The Hon & Revd. Henry Noel Waldegrave on his marriage by Dr Patrick Fraser M.D. K.T.S (with incuse registered design lozenge), by George Fox, London 1873/74, 9.75in (25cm) long, 12oz weighable silver.
