A 17th century German parcel-gilt, sleeve tankard, with a caryatid scroll handle, domed cover and foot with circular decoration in relief and a bud finial, the sleeve with a frieze of nereids and mythical figures in a seascape, struck with later Dutch cuty marks, maker's mark EH [monogram], unascribed, Hamburg 1660-1680, 7.7in (19.5cm) high, 36oz.
