A pair of 19th century mounted lignum vitae tankards, with cylindrical scroll handles, shell thumbpieces and embossed covers engraved in the centre with a coat of arms, the body with two engraved bands of scrollwork, each struck with pseudo marks, vaguely imitating those of early Exeter assay, appx 5.1in (13cm) high.
