A GEORGE III MAHOGANY WRITING / READING TABLE

the hinged top on a ratchet, with a removable rest, with pull-out candle slides, the front with a frieze drawer, stamped 'GILLOWS LANCASTER', the right side with two short drawers, one with divisions for pens and ink, the left side with a long drawer, all fitted with gilt brass handles, on square tapering legs and brass castors
