the brass eight day twin fusee repeating movement with a crown wheel escapement striking on a bell, with a bob pendulum and four knopped pillars, with a foliate engraved backplate, the brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes, with a date aperture and inscribed 'John Ilbery / London' to the matted centre, beneath a strike/silent dial to the arch, the caddy top case with a brass handle with pine cone finials, with pendulum and winding key
