A WILLIAM IV SATINWOOD MANTEL CLOCK
BY VINER, LONDON, C.1830-40
the brass eight day chain driven twin fusee repeating movement, striking hourly on a gong, the silvered dial inscribed 'Viner / 2/204 / London', with black Roman numerals and scrolling spandrels, the case with a large bevelled glass inspection window and matching side panels and a silk lined grille to the back door, with a moulded cornice and an ogee moulded and stepped plinth base with flattened bun feet, with pendulum and keys
