the brass eight day twin fusee repeating movement striking on a bell, the backplate inscribed 'J Rigby / Charing Cross', on a silvered dial similarly inscribed and with black Roman numerals, the case with a sarcophagus top with a flaming urn finial above glazed doors, the sides with cornucopia and hoop swing handles above gilt metal fish scale grilles, with brass flowerhead and scrolling foliate inlay and on ball feet, with pendulum and key
