the brass eight day twin fusee repeating movement striking on a bell, the backplate inscribed 'Hart & Son / Cornhill / London', on a silvered dial similarly inscribed, with black Roman numerals, a strike/silent dial to the arch, the case with an arched pediment, ebonised and gilt spires and ebonised cluster columns, the sides with silk backed fretwork lancet panels, on flattened bun feet, with is original bracket, with keys and pendulum
