A 19th-century French double-lidded parcel-gilt silver snuff box,
Paris circa 1840,
oblong form, foliate scroll decoration to the sides and base, the hinged covers with chased foliate scroll decoration around the depiction of three men at a table drinking and smoking, one cover of one compartment wood-lined, length 8.8cm, approx. weight 3oz.
