An amethyst, chalcedony and enamel vinaigrette, first half 19th century, of rectangular section with carved floral borders in gold, the lid set with an inverted cushion-shaped amethyst, the interior compartment with a hinged openwork cover designed as pansies, applied with multicoloured enamel, the base set with a white chalcedony, measuring 2.8 x 2.3 x 1.5cm
