Description
A rare Chelsea figure of a leveret, c.1755, after the Meissen models by J J Kändler, crouched on all fours on a rocky base applied with leaves and flowers, its coat decorated with a pale wash, some chips to the flowers and leaves, a small amount of good restoration, 9.5cm tall.
