A Chelsea leaf-shaped sauceboat, c.1752-55, the deep form finely painted inside and out with naturalistic flower sprays and a flying insect, the exterior moulded with sprays of alpine strawberry extending to form the feet and over the crabstock handle, brown line rim, red anchor mark, a few small nibbles, 19.5cm.
