A Chupicuaro standing female figure
Mexico, circa 500 BC - 100 AD
pottery, hollow with an incised banded headdress, pierced eyes and ears and with an open mouth with sharp teeth, with short arms and with a cream colour ground and red pigment decoration to the top of the head, face and body,
43cm high, on a stand. (2)
